How does it work?
Bio-filler with Plasma Gel is known as a “organic autologous aesthetic procedure” – that means the product involved utilises a client’s own blood.
Blood is drawn from the client’s arm into a vacutainer tube, the blood is then spun in a centrifuge machine to separate the Red Blood Cells, Platelet Rich Plasma, Platelet Poor Plasma and White Blood Cells. After the separation process, the plasma is retrieved using syringes and placing them in a warm bath (heating) machine for a few minutes until the plasma turns in to a gel like substance.
The gel is then injected into the problem area(s) to reinvigorate and lift parts of your face that have lost volume, and to target wrinkles and folds. The treatment is also suitable for lips.
The Plasma Gel has the same colour and consistency as natural fat, but becomes much softer when it is injected. A major benefit of this treatment is that it also stimulates the stem cells and growth factors that produce collagen – the body’s natural protein for keeping skin taut, fresh and youthful. How long does the treatment take to work?
